Ian Scott-Reid is a full-time painter who was traditionally trained in Fine Art in London, England. He has travelled the world widely, and draws a great deal of inspiration from the bright colours of the Caribbean, as well as the more subdued colours of Venice. Ian works also exclusively with the traditional oil on canvas medium, utilizing specialist underpainting techniques which have been used for centuries by the great masters to produce works which are both vibrant and yet balanced in tone.
